Community Research Grant
The Community Research Committee of the Junior League of Montgomery accepts grant applications for funding and volunteer placement on a yearly basis. We strive to help a variety of community organizations have the ability to provide programs in the Montgomery area that fit within our mission statement of “Strengthening Families”. We raise money for these projects via our annual Holiday Market and other fundraiser's, and are proud to have donated over $400,000 to community groups in the last five years. We have helped a variety or organizations including the Montgomery Area Council on Aging, the DHR Back to School Program, Resurrection Catholic Ministries, Medical Outreach Ministries, and STEP. We are proud to commit our volunteers to each and every one of the project we support through this grant process.
Grant applications are typically available in late July and due back to the league office in September. Applications are considered by the Committee during the fall, with funds awarded the following spring. Click here to download the grant application form (in PDF format).
Please email your name, organization name, address, phone and email to information@jlmontomery.org if you would like your organization added to our database of groups who automatically receive grant application packages each funding cycle.
Community Assistance Fund
The Community Assistance Fund provides a means for the Junior League of Montgomery to respond quickly to limited funding needs of non-profit agencies. A volunteer component is not required and request may come from outside our focus area. This fund enables the League to share resources without project commitment and increase our impact and visibility in the community.
